I whaley love you!

Here is Giorgia from Ciocio Scrap with my post for Craftin Desert Diva's.

Today I want to share with you a summer card to celebrate love! I know that in this period shaker cards are terribly popular and I really think they're awesome and so fun.. but.. I'm not able to create one! Ahah! I always make mistakes and get nervous.. so, here is my fake shaker card!

I decided to put the whales one in front of the other as they are ready to kiss themselves.. how romantic! I embossed with white the bubbles on an orange paper and, as said before, the sequins are glued to the paper to imitate a shaker card.

The sentiment is absolutely perfect for the card and so cute!

Two for Tuesday

Hi crafty friends! How are you? 

Today is Two for Tuesday at Craftin' Desert Divas! This is a new, fun, "challenge" where 2 members of the Design Team will pair in order to create something with a common stamp.. so one stamp, two designs! How cool!

I decided to join immediately, because I saw today is Donna's turn! Have you seen her works? Just amazing and always so elegant!

The stamp we chose for our challenge is the Beach Bound, and in detail, the sweet little lady and the cute boy!

Here's my project!

I decided to keep it very simple. I think this little boy looks a little sad, maybe because he misses his sweet friend.

For coloring the images I used distress inks and my purpose was to give like a sepia look, creating a nostalgic atmosphere.

I die cut the shape of an heart to frame the girl and add the sentiment "wish you were here" on the sand that is hand sketched!

I decided to use soft and pastel colors, so I used light blue and light pink to color the little lambs. To mimic the roses I think to use a sequin flower.

The doily can be a recall to bakery and I love the pattern paper I used for the background. So soft and delicate.

I used all the three new sets in this card I created for a special crafty friends.. she's a retired teacher and one of the best people I met recently.

I decided to use bright and fun colors to make her happy! The sentiment is white heat embossed, whereas I simply colored the apples with alcohol markers. Aren't they juicy?! Below a detail of the yellow apple!

Here's my Christmas card

I made a custom background using a snowflake stamped more times. I decided to make a banner where to put the sweet bunny who's holding a Christmas present (maybe full of stamps and crafty things!).

I heat embossed the sentiment in silver and add some sequins.. how cool are the square and circle ones?!

Despite of this stormy sky with snow flakes, I'm still wearing my sunglasses and enjoy the sun here!
